Arrange for test proctor if not testing at the GCCC
campus.
Students living in Bay County must test at the
scheduled time and place. If there is a significant
reason why this would not be possible, the student
must contact the Instructor to make alternate
arrangements. If the student lives in a remote
location, they may request a proctor. All exam
requests must be received in the DE office at least
2 weeks before the scheduled exam date.
The student must contact the DE office (850)
769-1551, or 1-800-311-3685 ext. 5807 for
instructions on how to gain access to the Proctor
Approval form that must be completed before any
exams will be sent to a proctor. Click
below to
download the Proctor Approval form
http://de.gulfcoast.edu/testing/procfor.pdf
(Requires Adobe Acrobat Reader software to read and
print this form.)
The student must notify the Instructor by phone or
email of the need for a test proctor.
All proctors must be professional staff at an
educational institution or library. Click below to
download the guidelines for selecting a proctor
http://de.gulfcoast.edu/testing/procinst.pdf
(Requires Adobe Acrobat Reader software to read and
print this form.)
After the Proctor has been approved, the DE office
will then inform the Faculty member of the approval
and request the exams for the student. The DE office
will send the exams to the proctor, and when
received back, return the exams to the Faculty
member.
Students living in Gulf and Franklin Counties may
take exams at the Gulf/Franklin Center in Port St.
Joe. Call (850) 227-9670 or 227-9671 for the testing
hours. The DE office must be contacted first in
order to make arrangements for testing at the
Gulf/Franklin Center. The GCCC Library will proctor
exams for students during the following times:
Monday –
Thursday 8am - 7pm
Friday 8am – 11am (excluding the summer
semester)
Saturday 9am-5pm
Sunday closed
Testing cannot be accommodated in the
GCCC Library when classes
are not in
session.
