1.  How do I register and enroll for a class?
 

Admission, enrollment and registration are handled by the Admissions Office. See the Admissions link at http://www.gulfcoast.edu/admissions/


2.  Can I register at any time?
 

No. Registration dates for Spring 2008 are November 26th - 30th, and again on January 7th - 9th.  Late registration and drop/add dates are January 10th - 16th.  See the College Calendar for these dates at http://www.gulfcoast.edu/currentcalendar.htm.


3.  Do I need to speak with a counselor before registering?
 

If you are a new student or need help with course selection, you should speak with an academic advisor or the Counseling Center. View the Counseling Center link at http://sd.gulfcoast.edu/sdservices.htm.


4.  Do I need a computer? What else do I need?
 

You will need access to a computer with internet connection and an email address. Some courses require access to a DVD player. See course outlines at http://de.gulfcoast.edu/vcampus/courses20081.htm


5.  How do I get my course materials?
 

Textbooks may be purchased at the College Bookstore at http://bookstore.gulfcoast.edu/.  DVD's may be ordered at http://de.gulfcoast.edu/order_form.htm or picked up in the GCCC College Library.


6.  Can I take E-Learning courses if I live in another state or overseas?
 

Yes. Course materials can be mailed. Exams can be taken locally with an approved proctor. Contact the E-Learning Department by email at vcampus@gulfcoast.edu or by phone at 850-769-1551 or toll free 1-800-311-3685, ext. 5807.


7.  When do E-Learning courses start?
 

For Spring 2008, classes begin Thursday, January 10th.


8.  Are the courses self-paced?
 

No. Assignments and exams must be completed according to the course schedule.


9.  How do I access my course information?

2. Click here http://angel.gulfcoast.edu and make sure you have an account set up in Angel.            

3. Contact your instructor.


10.  What is the cost of E-Learning courses?
 

In-state tuition rate is $73.49 per credit hour. Out-of-state tuition rate is $252.96 per credit hour.


11.  What are the testing hours for the College Library?
 

Monday through Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 11:00a.m., Saturday: 9:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Tests are not administered when classes are not in session. To verify testing days and times, call (850) 769-1551 or toll free 1-800-311-3685, ext. 5807.


12.  How can I obtain a Proctor Approval Form?
